History of The Black Room

	============================================================================= The Black Room has existed in many, many forms over the years. It got its start as a gaming BBS - named after my painted black windowless bedroom - which seemed better as an idea than in practice. Later, the room became home to a D&D club, which was much more fitting. The name continued on as a website, thanks to a birthday gift from a good friend, and for a long while was host to a social club with chats, contests and BBS door games. A place for friends and community to gather. Then came facebook. Although it was always home to The Black Room Software, the website shut down, and attempted to exist for a short time as a facebook group (really?), it then went dormant to the outside world. Internally, it was just an email server, where it kept on in name only. But the idea off community and gaming lives on - and so, with the world as it is, I feel like it is time to resurrect The Black Room.
